I tried this once and that was all I needed. This is really greasy and I couldn't even get off my hands after I applied it to my face. I washed my hands three times and I still had this greasy film on my Palms. I had the same problem when I tried to wash this mask off my face. I could not get it all off my skin no matter what I did. This is the weirdest face mask I've ever tried. I did not like this at all.
Smelled fine, interesting texture. Definitely sticky- but if you use small amounts, less difficult to remove. Nice for some seasonal dryness.
THis smelled great and was fine going on, but both my son and I had itchy skin after use, so we have since thrown it away.
2 stars
This is such a nice mask! Use as directed for supple, bright skin. It does have Vitamin C, but it's very gentle. Plus it's organic, so what's not to love? I would highly recommend this product, especially for the price.
This face mask was actually really nice to use. It has nice mild scent and has a gel-like consistency. It goes on very smooth, and after leaving it on for a few minutes, rinsing it off was easy too. It left my skin feeling really soft and hydrated. Most masks I use end up washing off completely and leaving my skin drier than before, but this one seemed to really work. Though with sensitive skin, it may feel a little heavy. While some other reviewers mention that it makes their skin feel greasy, I thought it felt like it was really moisturized, like using a thick serum. Only time will tell if this really helps dry skin in the long run. I would order this again!
Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of this face mask from Dr. Organic. It has a gel-like formula that applies more like a heavy cleanser rather than a thick mask. The citrusy aroma is mixed with sunflower seed oils, which slightly detracts from the bright, fruity scent it could have achieved.
I was impressed by the number of organic certifications this product has, and while I was excited to try it, this one fell short. Even with warm water and considerable scrubbing, my skin still felt sticky after using this product. I followed up with another cleanser and makeup remover and had to scrub quite thoroughly to remove it. As someone who doesn't like the weighty feel of products on my face, this wasn't a good match. It did feel hydrating and smoothing, but it just wasn't worth the trouble to remove. I won't be repurchasing this one.
I'm not sure what to make of this.
It uses natural ingredients.
It's easy to use.
It's refreshing when you have it on.
For me, however, it did not do much.
At the same time, I don't have sensitive skin, so I think this might be a good choice for those who do.
With different skin types and goals in mind, I would consider this a good choice for those looking for a mask that is gentler.
It stays on, even in the shower, until I am ready to rinse it off. I like that it comes in a smaller amount which is good when using multiple products. You don't want any product to get too old before you can finish it. Consistency is nice, fragrance is not overpowering.
Not a good fit with my skin. I couldn't get it off of my skin without scrubbing. Not sure if it works as the scrubbing itself irritated my skin. Might work for some people, but no for me.
This Dr. Organic vitamin C face mask is excellent for promoting healthy skin. It really helps with dryness and inflammation, as well as evening out skin tone. I appreciate that it’s made with natural and organic ingredients. The product has a gel-like consistency with a greasy texture. Since it's primarily oil-based, it starts to melt and absorb rather quickly. Regarding smell, there is only a mild sunflower oil scent. If you've ever cut open a vitamin E softgel, it smells just like that. To use, you simply apply a thin layer, wait five minutes, and then rinse with warm water. This doesn't completely remove the product, but that's how you'll experience the full benefits. So, just be sure not to wash it off. While it does leave skin feeling soft and hydrated, it also makes it feel greasy, which I’m not a fan of. As such, I prefer to use it at night before going to bed. Recommended!
This Dr. Organic brand Vitamin C Face Mask is Vegan, Animal test-free and organic. Some of the major ingredients are sunflower seed oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil plus guava. It is very moisturizing and conditions the skin but I never would have considered it a mask. When I think of a facial mask cream it is usually something that you peel off after it dries and it strips away unwanted residue and dirt, and dead skin but that doesn't describe this product at all.
While I like this product as an emollient, moisturizer and skin conditioner I just don't see it as a mask so this is why I gave it three stars. Also at its current price point I don't believe it is a good value for what is basically mostly sunflower and coconut oil. Overall. It is not a bad product but it not anything special.
I wanted to like this product, but it was too harsh to use on my skin at the frequency they suggested. I also found that it really didn't apply to the skin of any other mask I have used in the past, which makes me wonder if this product was misclassified as a mask for some reason.
This is more of a cleanser than a mask. It’s watery and thin - but put it on your skin for 5mins and then wash it off.
Its effects are like an exfoliator - after using this for 2 days a week for a couple of weeks my skin is looking smoother and brighter. It is not an immediate effect, but you will improvements over time.
I have tried the mask a few times now and I am not really a fan. It is very wet and gel-like. I am not sure if it is doing much for my skin but it feels nice on my face for the 10 minutes, and I like that it's organic. I think it's overpriced for what it is, as I am not sure that it's anything special. The scent isn't strong but I can't say I particularly liked it - I did not pick up on it being tropical, I just thought it smelt a bit strange - haha maybe that's just me. Overall, I think it is fine, but I can't say it's anything special.
The Dr. Organic Vitamin C mask is impressive in quality due to it being certified organic, paraben free, cruelty free, SLS free. The mask is a gel like consistency and is clear. It is thick and goes on smoothly. It feels hydrating on and has an oily feel. My skin felt clean after removing and did not feel dry at all. My skin felt hydrated. I will say that it was very obvious after washing my hands after applying and removing the mask that my hands felt like I had oiled them. The residue did not feel slick per se, but left a layer of emollient almost on the skin so that the water would bead up on it. While my hands felt this way, my face really didn’t feel oily or slick. The result was a hydrating clean feeling after use on the face. The mask feels almost like a heavy serum on the skin. I liked the scent which I felt was citrus like more than fruit or tropical.
Good scent. Those with sensitive skin should probably go light with this product.
I ordered the Dr. Organic Vitamin C Face Mask to use twice a week as a moisturizer before I go to bed. It’s been a nice addition to my nighttime routine since it hydrates my skin. Although the tropical scent is nice, it’s somewhat faint. I like that it’s organic, vegan, and cruelty-free with no added chemicals. It’s probably too early to tell but I haven’t noticed any difference in my skin since I’ve been using it.
I'm really confused about this face mask. At $24 for just 1.7 fl oz, I expected something amazing, but it honestly feels more like a serum than a mask. The consistency is super runny, and instead of a typical mask experience, you just massage it into your face after toner and rinse it off after 5 minutes.
I didn’t notice much of a difference compared to my regular serum, which is actually cheaper than this. For the price, I was expecting more noticeable results. Sadly, this one didn’t impress me, so I’d pass on it.
It is a gel consistency, easy to apply and rinse off, though I still washed my face after with a facial cleanser. It has a scent for those who are sensitive to fragrances. It didn't really do anything. No reaction but no results either. I was expecting at least to have my skin feel slightly softer, but that didn't happen. This is pricey at $24 for a small tube for something that didn't really do anything.
The size is small to medium. It has some kind of weird smell, mostly medicine smell. But it gives good effect. So, overall it has great ingredients.
I did not care for this face mask product at all. It is not like your usual face mask. It’s made of a kind of gel material, I guess because it’s vitamin C based? I am not sure but it is very sticky, and it leaves a residue on your face and hands even after washing it off. I had to scrub and scrub to get rid of the stickiness. On top of that, it has a terrible plastic smell to it. My face felt like it was burning when I applied it and after washing it off. At 1.7 ounces, it is a very small amount so I don’t feel this in any way a good value. I would not order this again.
Dr Organic Vitamin C Face Mask...
📚Pros: Smells great, easy to apply and remove, very gentle.
📚Cons: None
📚Summary: The guava fragrance is light and lovely, the texture surprised me (almost like hair gel) but it was very easy to apply and, so easy to rinse off. The instructions are to apply and leave on your face for 5 minutes. I was probably a couple of minutes past that but I did not have any irritation or redness. My skin felt hydrated and invigorated, and looked brighter. Gentle enough to use a couple of times a week 👍👍
Smells great, glides on smooth, not sticky, not tight, washes off easily. My skin feels hydrated and smooth. Great face mask. I love that it’s a clean product , I will let my little kids use this as well
This product has an organic, cruelty-free, vegan, crunchy granola pedigree and that’s lovely, but it doesn’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing. In other words: does it work? it does.
It’s wonderfully hydrating and has a slightly tropical scent, presumably from the guava and coconut oils, two of its prominent ingredients. A little bit of this goes a long way and you only need to apply a thin layer. This is not really a traditional “mask;” it’s more like a cream that you only leave on your face for just five minutes. In my opinion, this does a good job of brightening up the skin, leaving it with a youthful glow.
Really liquid for a mask and smells like it’s very old
Not nice to use
